Taking the Message to the World

Jesus gave his Church the following commission, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you…” (Matthew 28:19-20). As you examine the material available on this website, you will find information about God’s purpose and plan for your life, and how to fulfill your God-given destiny. You will find answers to questions about what the Bible teaches about subjects you may have wondered about.

Much of what you read or hear from this website may surprise you, or perhaps even shock you. It may, in some respects at least, be different from things you’ve believed to be true. But we invite you to accept the challenge of proving the truth of what we teach from your own Bible (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21). If you have the will, and are prepared to make the effort, you can swim upstream against the lethargy and spiritual blindness that affects most of the world.

Granted, the Bible can be, and often is, twisted to make it seem to say what various individuals, perhaps well-meaning, but often mistaken, want it to say, or think it should say. You need to be careful to check all the Scriptures, and other solid evidence where applicable, and determine whether those doing the teaching are “teaching the message of truth accurately” (2 Timothy 2:15, NET).

The real truth of the gospel is not an easy message to accept in a world Satan has deceived (Revelation 12:9). But you can come to understand the truth as few others do, if you are willing to be corrected by God’s word, repent of your sins, and turn to God in true faith, seeking to grow in spiritual understanding (Proverbs 1:23; Daniel 9:13; Matthew 7:7-8; 2 Corinthians 3:16; 2 Peter 3:18).

If what you find here is refreshing to you, and spiritually rewarding, you can help us grow in terms of effectively spreading the message of the true gospel to the world.

We don’t advocate that you aggressively try to talk your relatives or friends into sharing your beliefs in a confrontational manner. Usually that approach will only gain you enemies. But you can be a light to others in how you live your life. And some will notice (Matthew 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:11-12). Someone may at some time ask you a question about your faith, and with God’s help you can be prepared with the right answer (1 Peter 3:15).

Another way you can help is to pray that God will bless our efforts, and add increase to what is being done (Matthew 9:37-38; 1 Corinthians 3:5-7; Ephesians 6:18-19; Colossians 4:3).

Some have posted links to material they’ve found helpful on our website. That’s fine, if you’re inclined to do so. But avoid getting into fruitless debates over matters of religion. Bitter wrangling, over the Internet or elsewhere, is likely to accomplish little, and may actually do more harm than good in helping others (Matthew 15:14; 1 Timothy 6:5; Titus 3:9).

Whatever you do, don’t lose hope. Although evils are increasing in the world, Christ’s coming is closer than ever, and he does promise to intervene, to save mankind (2 Timothy 3:1-4; Matthew 24:22, 30). Meanwhile, we intend to do our part to fulfill Christ’s commission to his Church.
