Boast in the Cross

A controversy arose in the early Church regarding circumcision, and coming under the Old Covenant, as opposed to faith in Jesus Christ and being redeemed through his sacrifice. Paul addressed this controversy in the book of Galatians. How is explained Paul’s statement to the Galatians “God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ”?

Unleavened Bread of Sincerity and Truth

God intends that we learn spiritual lessons from his commanded festivals. What does keeping the Feast of Unleavened Bread with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth (I Corinthians 5:8) teach us about how our corrupt fleshly nature may be replaced by a new and different nature — the Divine nature of God?
